Maintenance Assistant (Flexible Hours)

You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, grounds work, painting, simple electrical and plumbing repairs and attention to other building concerns. Status: Per Diem * Schedule: As needed, weekdays and weekends * Pay Range: $17.50hr.-$26.00/hr. Responsibilities: Complete work order requests * Perform safety checks on equipment and the facility * Assist in fire and disaster drills * Inspect fire extinguishers and document findings * Test emergency generator under load condition * General grounds keeping (litter pick-up, snow removal, etc.) * Repair telephones and nurse call systems * Repair walls, flooring and furniture * Painting and wall covering as needed * Move and relocate offices and resident rooms * May be required to drive company vehicle
