As RN Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination for the Beverly Hills Wilshire, Specialty Care clinic. The position is a combination of clinical (direct patient care) and administrative nursing responsibilities.

We're seeking an experienced RN with supervisory experience to lead and support our clinical team. In this vital role, you'll provide hands-on patient care while ensuring an efficient workflow of our back-office team at UCLA Health Beverly Hills Wilshire, Specialty Care clinic. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing patient assessment, care, and education to pediatric and adult patients in a clinical/urgent care setting

  • Supervising and training clinic nursing staff

  • Working closely with physicians to manage patient care; triage phone and in-basket messages for providers

  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Clinical Director to ensure seamless clinical operations

  • Planning and adjusting staffing to meet operational needs efficiently

  • Responsible for the management of the Quality Assurance and audit process; responsible for ordering clinic supplies and medications

Pay Rate: $132,300.00 to $307,100.00 annually. Qualifications

Required:

  • Current California RN License

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing. If the Baccalaureate degree is not in Nursing, a Master's degree in Nursing is required

  • 3 years of recent ambulatory clinical care experience*, preferably in an urgent care or emergency department setting (staff nurse/charge nurse/manager).

  • Behaviors, actions, and language reflect conscious commitment to supporting unit, department, and hospital vision

  • Projects a calm, reassuring and confident manner and promotes a cohesive team environment

  • Consistently achieves high standards in clinical duties and holds self to same standards as others are held to

  • Makes decisions in the best interest of the patient

  • Effectively listens and communicates to peers both positive and constructive feedback

  • Able to admit fault and acknowledge others' position without becoming defensive

  • Consistently uses good judgment in making decisions

  • Consistently identifies opportunities to improve unit performance and takes action to implement ideas

  • Develops rapport with patients and patients' families

  • Able to recognize (or bring attention to) peers' accomplishments

  • Maintains positive attitude towards unit and work, helping to build unit's positive reputation

  • Consistently models right behaviors

  • Skills in coaching and assisting staff in:

  • developing a plan of care including setting goals, monitoring and documenting progress

  • implementing interventions that are pertinent to goals established in the plan of care

  • evaluating the effective of interventions toward the attainment of established goals and

  • recognizing the need to reassess or reset goal parameter

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Preferred:

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
