Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time Weekend Shifts

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Weekend Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on support to individuals in a residential setting, helping them enjoy meaningful, engaging weekends while promoting independence and personal growth.

Schedule:

  • Weekends only

  • Additional hours may be available based on coverage needs

What You’ll Do

  • Provide supervision and support to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities

  • Assist with personal care and daily living skills as needed

  • Transport individuals to community outings, recreational activities, and appointments

  • Plan and participate in activities such as arts & crafts, games, cooking, and outings

  • Support social engagement through trips, events, and community involvement

  • Maintain accurate daily documentation using our Electronic Health Record system (THERAP)

  • Work collaboratively with team members to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment

  • Go shopping or out to the movies

  • Host game nights or backyard BBQs

  • Participate in creative activities like arts, crafts, or cooking

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • A verifiable High School Diploma or GED required

  • Experience desired, but not necessary; we will train and support you

  • Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential

  • A valid New Jersey auto driver's license with less than 5 points; probationary not accepted
