Job Description

Job Summary:

The Product Support Specialist role for the US Raymarine Technical Support department is mainly responsible for fielding calls, CRM cases, and providing in-person support and training throughout the Americas’ region of the world. This role is integral to how Raymarine operates its business and is about building relationships, solving complex challenges, and ensuring customers worldwide can rely on our innovative technology. You will work in the Hudson, NH office, in our top-tier support group, solving the problems escalated from the Americas’ region. You will act as the last line of defense for a wide range of business and end customers. A background in technical product support, the marine industry, and/or supporting SAAS is preferred.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Taking escalated support phone calls and resolving appropriately with clear and professional communication

  • Raymarine and FLIR Maritime thermal products, specifically

  • Managing CRM cases with high volume and rapid response time expectations

  • Performing in-person training and limited field service work

  • Work closely with in-house and field service to manage the customer support after-sales lifecycle

  • Provide real-world feedback to engineering teams, enabling enhanced product improvements

  • Develop into a subject matter expert (SME) across all product ranges

  • Additional assigned duties

Job Qualifications:

  • Electronics technical know-how, marine industry a plus

  • Technical troubleshooting background, preferably in a technology company

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • A self-starter, team player, who’s adaptable and able to operate in ambiguous scenarios

  • Windows OS Experience, e.g., Office, Teams, etc.

  • CRM & VOIP Experience, e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Aircall, Nice InContact, etc.

  • Remote customer support experience, e.g., AnyDesk

  • Able to work under pressure and cross-functionally

  • Ability to travel, up to ~30% annually

  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools

  • HS Diploma, or GED required. University and advanced degrees preferred
