QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:

  • Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.

  • Design and optimize the arrangement of machinery and equipment within plant facilities to maximize efficiency and productivity.

  • Develop sequences of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools, equipment, and other functions impacting product performance.

  • Adapt machine and equipment designs to meet factory and production requirements.

  • Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into manufacturing and production plans.

  • Evaluate the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Investigate manufacturing problems and implement corrective actions to address deficiencies and ensure product quality.

  • Develop manufacturing processes applicable to Statistical Process Control (SPC) and support the implementation of statistical techniques.

  • Provide engineering guidance on design concepts and specification requirements to optimize the use of equipment and manufacturing techniques.

  • Ensure manufacturing processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations, standards, and quality requirements.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 0+ years of relevant experience; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production layouts, equipment, machining, and material handling.

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment design, installation, and process optimization.

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and basic statistical techniques is preferred.

  • Ability to identify manufacturing issues, evaluate equipment performance, and support corrective actions.

  • Understanding of quality requirements, inspection and testing processes, and applicable manufacturing regulations.

  • Ability to interpret engineering concepts, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.
