About Us Cambium is a growth stage start-up using technology to make it easy to access material we normally waste, turning salvaged lumber into Carbon Smart Wood™. It’s an exciting time of growth for Cambium, and we’re looking for ambitious, energetic people to join our mission. About This Role We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial operations as we scale. You will own core accounting processes in NetSuite, manage monthly closes, and strengthen reporting controls across the parent company and subsidiaries. This is a hands-on position for someone with proven NetSuite expertise, CPA credentials, and experience in manufacturing and inventory environments. You will work closely with our Finance Operations Manager to ensure precision in our books, compliance with accounting standards, and scalable processes to support rapid growth. What You’ll Do Here

Lead the month-end close process across the parent company and two small subsidiaries, completing within ten business days.

Ensure accurate reconciliations in NetSuite, including COGS, debt schedules, asset tracking, AP/AR, and other balance sheet items.

Clean up and validate historical transactions, including migrating and updating data from legacy ERPs (QuickBooks, Sage).

Manage external accounting contractors to complete accounting and reporting requirements from management.

Oversee ERP integrity, ensuring NetSuite reflects accurate, real-time data.

Support external audit processes and maintain compliance with accounting standards.

Provide granular reporting on key metrics such as margins, time to payment, and deal data segmented by region, product family, channel, and deal type.

Partner with the Finance Operations Manager to ensure accurate project costing, and vendor/client communications.

Maintain oversight of inventory and work in process accuracy.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)

6-10 years of related accounting experience.

Certified Public Accountant at some point prior.

Hands-on NetSuite accounting and reconciliation experience across parent and subsidiaries.

Strong background in manufacturing and inventory accounting.

QuickBooks experience.

Proven ability to lead month-end close processes independently.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience participating in or leading a financial audit.

Prior experience in high-growth or acquisition-heavy environments.

Familiarity with migrating financial data from multiple ERPs.
