Full job description
DUTIES: Strategic Cloud Data Modeling & Architecture Design: Design and maintain enterprise-wide conceptual, logical, and physical data models utilizing Snowflake schemas to map complex financial asset portfolios and core retail banking metrics in modern cloud-native environments. 2. High-Volume AWS & Cloud Data Migration Management: Lead structural end-to-end data migrations from legacy, on-premises core frameworks (specifically IBM DB2 architectures) over to modern distributed cloud targets like AWS databases and Snowflake data lakes. 3. Cloud Infrastructure Data Decoupling & Isolation: Pioneer business architecture separations by building permanent cloud-native solutions using Python and AWS to decouple specialized line-of-business metrics between FIS and TRP systems with zero data loss or downstream system impact. 4. Advanced AWS ETL & Cloud Data Pipeline Engineering: Construct, tune, and orchestrate robust, automated Change Data Capture (CDC) and data ingestion pipelines utilizing AWS Glue, AWS Step Functions, AWS Event Bridge, Python, and SSIS. 5. Massive-Scale Query Tuning & Optimization: Conduct intensive system performance sweeps, statement refactoring, and query execution profiling on massive multi-terabyte cloud data stores within Snowflake and DB2 to maximize processing speeds and eliminate system latency. Requirements : Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Electronic & Communications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Science or related field. Requires 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Senior Data Analyst/Architect, Technical Lead, Analyst & Designer, Sr. Software Engineer, Software Engineer or related field. Requires experience in Hive Data Lake, Oracle Database (12c), SSIS, BSA-AML. Position requires relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S with multiple Openings
