Every day, our Registered Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the Hemodialysis in Tampa Bay, Florida.

Positions Options:

• Locations: Multiple Locations

• Specialty: Hemodialysis

• Pool - as needed - 4-12 hours shifts per 6-week time frame

• 2 weekend shifts per 6-weeks

• Day Shift - 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

• Night Shift - 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

• Always in person

• Mease Countryside Hospital (Safety Harbor)

• Mease Dunedin Hospital (Dunedin)

• St. Anthony’s Hospital (St. Petersburg)

• Morton Plant North Bay (New Port Richey)

• Winter Haven Hospital (Winter Haven)

• Tampa Float Team - They float between the following locations:

• St. Joseph's Hospital-North (Lutz)

• St. Joseph's Hospital-Main (Tampa)

• St. Joseph's Hospital-South (Riverview)

• South Florida Baptist Hospital (Plant City)

• BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel)

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License

• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing

• Preferred Education: Bachelor's in Nursing

• 18-month's experience in the Dialysis in an Acute Care setting

• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

The Pool Registered Nurse – Hemodialysis responsibilities and skills:

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of Dialysis patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

• Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care

• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.

• Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition

• Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients

• Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge

• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient

• Professional accountability and development
