Job Description Summary

The Corporate Lean Leader drives continuous improvement across multiple functional areas. In this role, you will work closely with Corporate functional leaders to develop and drive Lean roadmaps, lead continuous improvement efforts, Kaizens, and deliver large-scale SQDC outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with Senior Leadership Team to translate strategic vision into objections and goals with an effective operating rhythm

  • Design and implement a Lean Operating System integral to how we run our functions for the long-term. This system will include: Lean principles, Hoshin-Kanri, daily management, Kaizen, Lean Roadmap, and complex problem-solving.

  • Build organizational capability and culture through coaching/mentoring on Lean mindset, tools, and practices

  • Lead business transformation priorities supporting continuous improvement and optimization of end-to-end processes for multiple Corporate Functions (Commercial Operations, Strategy, Financial Services, etc)

  • Drive the development, execution, and sustainment of standard work

  • Partner with Senior Leadership Team to optimize monthly operating rhythms, ensure daily management, and proactive identification of risk to KPI’s & business outcomes

  • Lead problem solving with Lean tools & practices (i.e. fishbone diagrams, problem solving revies, etc.) to resolve complex challenges

  • Drive actions to ensure that improvements are sustained and lessons learned are integrated into processes

  • Support the Hoshin Kanri process to establish breakthroughs

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in continuous improvement, project management, operations, and/or related experience

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience leading global teams

  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and successful change management

  • Ability and willingness to travel 50%Desired Characteristics

  • Prior relevant experience in the Energy industry or experience in complex ETO manufacturing & services environments

  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to understand business strategy and develop Lean strategies to deliver business outcomes

  • Proven experience with leading Lean activities, applying Lean tools, and building Lean culture

  • Strategic thinker – demonstrated ability to anticipate constraints, facilitate breakthroughs, and drive strategic activities that transform the business

  • Demonstrated ability to assess complex business problems, assess tradeoffs, and take the right decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects through planning, execution, and sustainment

  • Strong cross-functional leadership with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes

  • Strong communication skills – proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and across functions

  • Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $225,000 and $285,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
