Summary

About the Position: The incumbent will serve as the senior Cyber Security Strategic Planner, overseeing cyberspace activities and operations planning at HQ ARTRANS to achieve the Commander's goals.

Duties

  • Assess the effectiveness of existing cybersecurity controls to recommend improvements
  • Review cyber directives and policies to ensure compliance with established cybersecurity standards.
  • Conduct crisis action planning for cyberspace operations to render appropriate effects across the surface transportation enterprise.
  • Develop operational procedures regarding cyber effects to ensure alignment with DoD, USTRANSCOM, and/or Army policies.
  • Utilize advanced systems research and planning methods to guide long-range cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Integrate information management technologies to optimize the development and management of cyber defense systems.
