Responsibilities

Responsible for the day to day operation and supervision of radiation oncology services. Responsible for coordination of all radiation oncology services including but not limited to nursing, radiation therapy, dosimetry, simulation, and other functions. Is responsible for ensuring compliance with departmental operational through-put goals. Provides care and/or service to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiation Therapy

  • 5 years clinical experience in Radiation Oncology AND 2 years supervisory experience in said specialty.

  • ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy - R.T. (R) (ARRT)

  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate diversified and multiple activities, and make appropriate clinical and managerial decisions. Must possess advanced problem solving skills.

  • Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

  • Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of Radiation Oncology procedures

  • Ensures accuracy , attention to detail ,ability to set priorities and to communicate well with all entities in Radiation Oncology

  • Must posses advanced problem solving skills

Preferred:

  1. Bachelors Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field2. Proficient in ARIA and Mosaiq software applications

Work Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Weekend Requirements: No On-Call Requirements: No
