Role Overview:

The Manager, Retail Development, Products & Experiences is in charge of executing retail and e-commerce strategies that drive sell-in of licensed merchandise across key retail partners. This role manages day-to-day relationships with Amazon, Costco and additionally coordinates all Canadian retailers.

This is an onsite position at our Los Angeles office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with retail partners (Primarily Canadian retailers, Amazon and Costco) and licensees to drive sell-in and sell-through of licensed products across all major product categories including Toys, Sporting Goods, Apparel, Home, Accessories, Food & Beverage and Essentials & Beauty.

  • Execute retail and e-commerce strategies across category responsibilities, including Amazon vendor/marketplace programs and Costco roadshow and club placements

  • Be the account and retail expert across categories

  • Contribute to overall account long term planning and strategy

  • Monitor online detail-page content, search performance, and in-club retail performance to identify opportunities to increase sales and distribution

  • Partner with licensing category teams to support product launches and retail activations in partnership with licensees

  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all licensed products and retail placements, including digital shelf standards

  • Conduct virtual and in-person retail audits to ensure merchandising standards are met and identify new opportunities

  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity across e-commerce and club channels

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, category, franchise) to support campaigns

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in retail, e-commerce, licensing, consumer products, or business development

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work individually with solid organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up

  • Experience working with licensed brands or retail partnerships preferred

  • Deep knowledge of e-commerce and club retail environments and merchandising strategies

  • Exemplary relationship management and communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with experience using sales data to drive decisions

  • Working knowledge of entertainment, categories and/or retail industry ideally with in depth knowledge of Amazon, Costco or other major consumer products retailers

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $103,000.00 - 123,000.00.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing compensation, or a range thereof, for roles where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, external market data, internal equity, skill set, experience, training, education, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of our total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.

This position is bonus eligible.
