Senior Oracle Software Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Oracle Software Engineer will support and enhance Oracle Financial Cloud environment, partnering closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver scalable financial solutions. This individual will be responsible for configuring, supporting, testing, and optimizing Oracle Financial Cloud applications while helping drive ongoing enhancements and upgrades across the finance ecosystem. The role requires a strong blend of functional Oracle Financials expertise, technical SQL knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

Key Responsibilities Partner with business and finance stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical solutions. Support Oracle Financial Cloud applications through configuration, testing, maintenance, and ongoing enhancements. Design, develop, and implement software and database improvements aligned with business needs. Perform system troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support activities. Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Create technical documentation, testing artifacts, and support materials. Provide end-user support and guidance for Oracle Financial Cloud functionality

Base salary range: $116K - $150K

Skills and Requirements

Functional Expertise (Most Important)

Strong Oracle Financials experience, specifically: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Receivable (AR) Cash Management / Cash Flow Experience supporting and maintaining an established Oracle environment Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa Comfortable working cross-functionally between finance, business, and IT teams

Technical Requirements (Secondary)

Strong SQL experience is required Additional development tools/frameworks are not a major focus Cloud accounting experience is a nice-to-have
