Full job description

Overview Providing leadership and oversight for Third Party A/R Follow-up function within Patient Financial Services. Functions under the responsibility of A/R Follow-up include contacting third party payors to collect on unpaid claims in a timely and accurate manner, and others as assigned. The Third Party A/R Follow-up Supervisor reports to the Third Party A/R Manager. Responsibilities Providing leadership and oversight for Third Party A/R Follow-up function within Patient Financial Services. Functions under the responsibility of A/R Follow-up include contacting third party payors to collect on unpaid claims in a timely and accurate manner, and others as assigned. Qualifications

Education

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

  • Associate’s Degree Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3 years of revenue cycle experience Required

  • 5 years of related Revenue Cycle experience, preferably within Third Party A/R Follow-up Preferred

  • 3 years of supervisory experience Preferred

  • Previous Epic experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Upon Hire Preferred or

  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Upon Hire Preferred
