Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a dependable Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a growing team in Springdale, Arkansas in a Contract position. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can independently manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of clients while delivering accurate financial records and responsive service. The role offers the chance to contribute beyond core bookkeeping responsibilities, with potential to support payroll, client advisory needs, and additional accounting projects as the firm continues to expand.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complete bookkeeping cycles for multiple client accounts, including maintaining general ledgers and keeping financial data current and accurate.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring transactions are recorded properly and deadlines are met.

• Perform bank and account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Use QuickBooks Online to organize financial records, generate reports, and support efficient month-end close activities.

• Take ownership of assigned client relationships by providing dependable communication and building trust through consistent service.

• Assist with payroll-related functions through common payroll systems such as Paychex, Alliance, or comparable platforms when needed.

• Support broader client accounting and consulting services, including work tied to outsourced accounting engagements and nonprofit-focused clients.

• Contribute to tax-related or other accounting support projects outside peak periods as business needs evolve. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in full charge bookkeeping with responsibility for end-to-end accounting tasks.

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online in a bookkeeping environment that requires close attention to detail.

• Practical experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Ability to work on-site and independently manage a book of business.

• Solid organizational skills with close attention to accuracy, deadlines, and service quality.

• Experience with payroll platforms such as Paychex, Alliance, or similar systems is preferred.

• Communication skills in Spanish and English are preferred.

• Background supporting individual or business tax preparation is a plus.
