Full job description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Travel RN to support home health patients throughout the New Braunfels, TX area .

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Home Health RN who is comfortable working independently in the field and providing high-quality patient care in a home health setting.

Position Highlights

  • Location: New Braunfels, TX

  • Pay: $53 to $56/hr

  • Assignment: Approximately 3-Month Contract | October 2026 – January 2027

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

  • Coverage Area: 60-mile radius around New Braunfels, TX

  • Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, reimbursed between patient visits

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the assigned coverage area.

  • Complete patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.

  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to physicians and healthcare team members.

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

  • Provide patient and caregiver education regarding disease management, medications, safety, and care plans.

  • Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Manage a home health caseload and prioritize patient needs effectively.

  • Participate in assigned on-call and weekend rotation schedules.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

  • Prior nursing experience required.

  • Ability to work independently in a home health environment.

  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned coverage area.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Home Health experience.

  • Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) .

  • Strong case management and patient education skills.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
