Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Graphic Designer sitting onsite in Washington, DC. This individual will support the CBP Cyber Security Directorate (CSD) Mission Support Branch by developing visual communications products used across organizational, operational, and strategic initiatives.

This individual will create and maintain graphics for SharePoint sites, newsletters, executive briefings, organizational charts, annual operational calendars, manager biographies, cybersecurity strategy documents, process flows, and other mission support communications. They will partner with technical writers and government stakeholders to translate complex information into clear, professional visual products. Additionally, this person will support Section 508 compliance efforts by creating and remediating accessible PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, Word documents, SharePoint content, banners, headers, charts, and graphics to ensure all deliverables meet federal accessibility standards.

Compensation: $31.50/hr to $37.50/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements

  • Active CBP Background Investigation (BI) clearance OR Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CBP BI
  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience supporting enterprise, government, cybersecurity, IT, or operational organizations
  • Experience designing executive-level presentations, briefings, infographics, newsletters, visual reports, and organizational communications
  • Experience creating organizational charts, workflow diagrams, process maps, roadmaps, visual timelines, and information graphics
  • Experience designing and maintaining SharePoint visual content including banners, page graphics, icons, site imagery, and user-facing communications
  • Experience translating highly technical or operational content into visually compelling and easy-to-understand graphics
  • Experience developing visual content to support strategic plans, organizational initiatives, operational calendars, and communications campaigns
  • Experience supporting Section 508 compliance requirements and accessibility standards, including conducting accessibility reviews and correcting identified Section 508 deficiencies
  • Experience creating and remediating accessible PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, Word documents, graphics, charts, and digital communications products
  • Strong visual layout, branding, typography, and information design experience
  • Experience creating cybersecurity strategy graphics and visual communications
  • Experience supporting executive leadership communications
  • Experience designing SharePoint site layouts and user experience enhancements
  • Experience creating annual operational calendars, dashboards, and reporting visuals
