About the Role:

Join CBRE as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler supporting a leading life sciences client, where your coordination and planning expertise will play a critical role in maintaining facility operations and minimizing disruption to business activities. This Monday through Friday day-shift position is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys bringing people, schedules, and resources together to ensure maintenance work is executed safely, efficiently, and with minimal impact to end users.

As a key planning and scheduling partner, you will coordinate maintenance activities across multiple internal teams and business groups, balancing operational priorities while helping ensure critical work is completed on time. You'll serve as a central point of coordination, facilitating communication, scheduling resources, tracking planned activities, and aligning stakeholders to support a seamless facility operation. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced life sciences environment where your efforts directly contribute to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules to support planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the site.

  • Coordinate work activities among multiple internal teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and with minimal business disruption.

  • Serve as a central point of contact for maintenance planning and scheduling activities, ensuring all parties are aligned on priorities, timelines, and resource needs.

  • Partner with operations, facilities, and business groups to identify scheduling conflicts and proactively mitigate customer impact.

  • Facilitate communication between maintenance teams, contractors, and client representatives regarding upcoming work, outages, and project activities.

  • Assist with resource planning, labor coordination, and workload balancing to support site maintenance objectives.

  • Deliver exceptional client service through proactive communication, strong organizational skills, and effective coordination of cross-functional activities.

  • Prioritize competing requests and adjust schedules as business needs evolve in a fast-paced life sciences environment.

  • Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation within the CMMS and other tracking systems.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
