This role ensures timely eligibility determinations and benefit issuance while guiding families through the application process and connecting them with additional stabilization resources. Review and process EA applications for families experiencing housing instability or energy emergencies. Conduct eligibility assessments and verify required documentation in accordance with W-2 and DCF policies. Ensure timely and accurate benefit issuance to support families in crisis. Guide families through the EA application process, providing clear communication and compassionate support. Connect participants with additional stabilization resources such as housing assistance, utility support, food programs, and employment services. Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with program standards. Collaborate with EA Case Manager Lead and other program staff to ensure coordinated service delivery. Monitor application outcomes and follow up with families to assess ongoing needs.
