AV Systems & Field Support

Job Description

Our client is seeking an SNS Technician with a focus on Audio Visual (AV) systems installation and support. This individual will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and supporting AV equipment across customer sites while also serving as a key member of the SNS field operations team.

This is a hands-on field-based role that goes beyond traditional AV installation. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats and assisting with structured cabling, communications rooms, network infrastructure support, equipment testing, troubleshooting, and other field activities required to successfully complete projects.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, team-oriented, and willing to support a variety of installation and technical projects throughout the Gulf Coast region.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of AV, low-voltage, structured cabling, or field technician experience Experience installing and troubleshooting technical equipment Ability to run, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling Familiarity with hand and power tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read basic installation drawings and diagrams Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout MS/AL Ability to work in the field, climb ladders, and lift equipment Commercial AV installation experience Experience with conference room and video conferencing systems Structured cabling certifications (BICSI, CTS, etc.) Experience with rack-and-stack installations Exposure to network infrastructure, security, or access control systems Experience with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Poly, or Cisco AV solutions
