Job Description: Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking two temporary, full-time Communications Department Assistants in Queens, NY. The roles involve assisting with network cabling installations and infrastructure projects across the MediSys Health Network. Ideal candidates enjoy active, physical work and are comfortable using tools, ladders, and working in facility environments. Job Responsibilities: -Pull network and communications cable through ceilings and designated pathways -Work from ladders and elevated work areas as needed -Assist with cable installation and infrastructure projects -Transport tools, materials, and equipment throughout the facility -Support Communications Department staff with ongoing projects -Additional responsibilities will be disclosed during the online application process. Job Requirements: -Ability to work safely on ladders -Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day -Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials -Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic -Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team -Previous experience in cable installation, maintenance, construction, facilities, telecommunications, or related trades is helpful, but not required Salary: $25.00 per Hour To Apply: Please send your resume by email to: [email protected] and make your subject line "Ref.
