Remote Sr. Android Developer

Job Description

This Android Developer will be working for a well known global hotel. They will be working on changes the Loyalty program coming up in 2027. This is a very large change to the code base to accommodate these changes, and the expectations I that they will modernize their booking flow using tools such as JetPack compose, and some newer frameworks (Frameworks: Koin, MVI (instead of MVVM), Junit. They are building new UI and modernizing the existing codebase, but not building the API layer or back end, but all within the shared codebase of the signal application. Android product application developer.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years as an Android Developer as a pure Android developer on the front end, not back end whatsoever
• Java, Kotlin
• Jetpack compose is a must
• Dependency injection
• Multi threaded programming
• Large enterprise environment or agency contracting with large enterprises
• Bitrise for component for Ci/CD
• GitLab for dependency scanning and repositories
• Proxyman for network sniffing
• Insomnia for testing APIs/mocking services
• AI coding for ChatGPT Codex
• Frameworks: Koin, MVI (instead of MVVM), Junit
