Job Category Program & Project Management Job Details

About Salesforce Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

As the Manager, AIforce Strategy & Innovation, you will serve as the engine of the AIforce Strategy & Innovation function. This role uniquely bridges technical architecture/governance and program execution/business value delivery across all four layers of the AIforce architecture: Data 360, Customer 360, Agentforce, and the AIforce Live Interface.

You will own internal AIforce implementations end-to-end—designing and pressure-testing headless/API-first architecture, establishing robust governance and semantic standards, leading cross-functional execution, quantifying business ROI, and converting operational wins into executive and customer-facing proof points.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Internal Implementations: Design, validate, and execute internal AIforce capabilities across Slack, Customer 360, Agentforce, and Data 360 within real orgs against live business data.
  • Semantic Disambiguation & Layer Design: Define semantic layer standards, disambiguation rules, and decision mechanisms for emerging platform features.
  • Pre-GA Testing & Product Validation: Lead pre-GA business readiness testing, pressure-test architecture limits, and surface technical friction with specificity engineering can act on.
  • End-to-End Program Ownership: Lead complex AIforce initiatives from problem definition through validation, operational readiness, and platform-scale rollout.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Coordinate across Product, Digital Enterprise Transformation (DET), Architecture, Business Operations, and GTM teams to resolve system dependencies, governance gaps, and blockers.
  • Product Gap Management: Diagnose P2C and GTM process friction and translate issues into a leadership-visible product gap backlog tied to specific business use cases.
  • Structured Alignment: Define program workstreams, clear milestones, decision points, and cross-team accountability mechanisms across multi-organizational initiatives.
  • KPI & Value Benchmarking: Connect technical validation to business metrics by defining and tracking ROI indicators (e.g., deal velocity, pipeline impact, hours saved, adoption metrics).
  • Proof Point Packaging: Package internal implementation wins into customer-ready case studies, executive readouts, and field enablement materials.
  • Strategic Narrative Delivery: Feed content and narrative inputs into executive briefings, Dreamforce keynotes/breakouts, Executive Briefing/Customer SIC sessions, and analyst engagements.
  • Repeatable Pattern Design: Convert internal implementation lessons into repeatable architectural and GTM patterns that guide future platform roadmaps.
  • Proactive Innovation: Anticipate emerging platform and business needs, translating them into actionable programs before they become execution gaps or escalations.
  • 5-Step Delivery Arc: Continually run the function's core operating cycle: Inspire & Discover, Co-ideate & Architect, Pressure-test & Validate, Route & Escalate, and Publish & Present.

You're Our Person If...

  • 6-8 years of experience in program management, technical strategy, or a related field
  • Architecture & Technical Depth: Proven experience with API-first architectures, and solid systems thinking
  • Program & Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs across engineering, product management, and business operations teams.
  • Business Acumen & Value Modeling: Experience with financial/ROI modeling, business case development, process optimization, and tracking commercial metrics (deal velocity, productivity gains).
  • Strategic Communication & Storytelling: Strong executive presence with the ability to translate complex technical architectures into compelling executive readouts and customer-facing narratives.
  • P2C / GTM Process Depth: Strong familiarity with Process-to-Cash (P2C), Go-To-Market (GTM) operations, and enterprise sales workflows.
