Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a top manufacturing and automation technology client. This individual will play a critical role in bringing new electro-mechanical products from development into production by improving manufacturability, assembly processes, quality, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will partner closely with design, engineering, suppliers, and operations teams to drive new product introductions, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. This is a highly visible position for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and helping innovative products successfully transition from concept to production

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

  • 7+ years of electro-mechanical design, assembly, and testing experience

  • Strong experience with manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability (DFM), and new product introduction (NPI)

  • Mechanical CAD experience (NX preferred)

  • Experience troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on mechanical/electro-mechanical systems

  • Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams - Siemens NX experience

  • Component manufacturing process knowledge

  • Product costing or job costing experience

  • Experience creating manufacturing work instructions and technical documentation

  • Experience supporting suppliers and driving continuous improvement initiatives
