Full job description

  • Provides direct patient care, which includes preparation for patient visit, assessment, advocating for patient, working in conjunction with physician with medications, and care plans

  • Supervises and provides guidance to Nurses and Certified Medical Assistants

  • Conducts phone triaging

  • Oversees medication management and is familiar with medication authorization process

  • Educates patients and families, along with coordinating and participating in community education programs.

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.

  • Other related duties as assigned, coverage as needed.

  • Overseeing clinical schedules in collaboration with Administrative Supervisors

  • Conducts Clinical meetings

  • Maintains clinical productivity reports and provides updates to leadership

  • Visiting offices to check in on clinical staff and clinical operations and compliance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's required.

  • Valid NJ RN License

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of direct clinical experience managing multiple offices

  • 2 years of inpatient/hospital experience

  • Gastroenterology experience preferred

  • Ability to multitask and handle a lot at once

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Professionalism and confidentiality
