FMCTI Energy Systems is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Manager – Subsea for a long-term onsite contract opportunity in Houston, Texas. This role will support an internal employee leave and will play a key part in increasing product awareness, customer engagement, and adoption across the Subsea business.

Position Summary
The Marketing Communications Manager – Subsea will develop and execute strategic marketing communication initiatives that support product awareness, market adoption, and customer engagement. This role will partner closely with product marketing, strategy, sales, and communications teams to create integrated go-to-market plans aligned with business objectives.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and strategic collaborator who can connect product value to customer needs through compelling messaging, content, and communication campaigns.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute product launch strategies and integrated communication plans.

Support go-to-market initiatives through:

Media outreach

Social media campaigns

Email marketing

Thought leadership content

Product and customer communications
-
Create clear, compelling product messaging that communicates value to target audiences.

Develop content that supports product understanding, engagement, and adoption.

Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to understand product features, benefits, target markets, and customer needs.

Serve as an orchestrator across relevant teams to support a shared go-to-market strategy.
-
Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product positioning and communications.
-
Build and maintain knowledge of the Subsea business and its markets.
-
Support Voice of the Customer initiatives and related programs.
-
Help strengthen the company’s reputation and market presence at the business-segment level.
-
Coordinate communication activities across internal stakeholders and external audiences.
-
Track communication effectiveness and recommend improvements based on results and market feedback.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field preferred.
-
Proven experience in marketing communications, product marketing, corporate communications, or a related discipline.
-
Experience developing and executing integrated marketing or communication plans.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Experience creating product messaging, campaign content, and thought leadership materials.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with product marketing, sales, strategy, and communications teams.
-
Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
-
Ability to work onsite in Houston four days per week.
-
Ability to understand complex products, services, and technical information and communicate them clearly to customers and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Current experience in the subsea, energy, oil and gas, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or another highly regulated industry.

Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
-
Knowledge of industrial or technical products and solutions.
-
Experience with media relations, social media, email marketing, and customer-focused communications.

Familiarity with Voice of the Customer programs and customer insight initiatives.
-
Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
