What you can expect to work on... As a CAD Designer, you'll play a key role in supporting engineering and facility design projects within a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing setting. You'll be responsible for creating, revising, organizing, and maintaining high-quality 2D electrical drawings including electrical schematics, panel layouts, power distribution drawings, conduit/raceway layouts, and facility electrical documentation. - Creates layout, pictorial, schematic, and wiring diagrams for electrical systems, control systems, equipment installations, and facility infrastructure - Creates and revises detailed 2D electrical drawings including one-line diagrams, power distribution layouts, panel schedules, control wiring diagrams, conduit/raceway layouts, equipment interconnect drawings, and electrical room layouts - Develops and maintains documentation for PLC controls, safety circuits, instrumentation, and associated control wiring systems - Creates and maintains facility layouts, equipment layouts, and building/facility documentation - Converts field redlines and installation markups into controlled as-built revisions What you need to succeed... - Associate Degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience - 3+ years experience in electrical design - creating and maintaining electrical drawings using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical - reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and control drawings - supporting industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, utility, or technical facility projects - maintaining revision-controlled engineering documentation - Embraces and models the Niowave Core Values of Teamwork, Courage, Integrity, and Upright Zeal - Understands how to integrate into a new team/organization -- appreciates the history of current state, know how and when to make suggestions, as well as using just the right pace to reach the improved future state - Understands your own communication and learning styles, can assess others' styles, and is able to find the right path to best connect with colleagues - Displays excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills - Possesses ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines - Develops and maintains good relationships, gains the confidence of others and works effectively in a multidisciplinary matrix environment - Demonstrates critical thinking with creative and strong problem solving and decision-making skills with ability to critically interpret and use data to manage risk Great to have...
