Logistic Coordinator

Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator for a Fresno-area client. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing transportation schedules, tracking inventory movement, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery

• Communicate with carriers, vendors, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status

• Monitor transportation schedules and resolve shipping delays or discrepancies

• Track inventory movement and maintain accurate logistics records

• Prepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, and related paperwork

• Enter and maintain data within ERP, transportation, and inventory management systems

• Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counts as needed

• Monitor freight costs and support logistics reporting

• Collaborate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and customer service teams

• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations

Requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of logistics, supply chain, transportation, shipping/receiving, or customer service experience preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems

• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Experience working with transportation carriers and freight providers preferred
