Job Description
Healthcare payer client seeking a strong Project Manager to lead complex software implementation initiatives. This individual must be a proven delivery leader with prior Managed Care Organization (MCO)/healthcare payer experience and a track record of successfully delivering large-scale implementations. This is not a coordinator role; we need someone who can drive execution, hold teams accountable, and influence senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end software implementation projects from planning through go-live. Drive project execution, manage risks, dependencies, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Partner directly with business and technology leaders to ensure successful project outcomes. Facilitate executive-level communications, status reporting, and decision-making. Hold stakeholders accountable and confidently push back when necessary to maintain project success. Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners. Manage projects utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
Skills and Requirements
8+ years of Project Management experience. Proven success leading software implementation projects. Healthcare payer and/or MCO experience required. Strong executive presence with experience presenting to directors and senior leadership. Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, influence stakeholders, and deliver results. Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple dependencies. Experience with healthcare platforms, claims, care management, or digital transformation initiatives.
