Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial remodel projects nationwide. This is a fully remote role that involves 100% travel throughout the United States, supporting projects for national retail and convenience store clients. The Construction Superintendent will manage all onsite construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. This role serves as the primary onsite leader, coordinating subcontractors, communicating with Project Managers, resolving field issues, and driving project execution. This is a 3-6 month contract opportunity with a strong possibility of conversion to a permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all onsite construction activities.

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

  • Serve as the primary onsite leader.

  • Coordinate subcontractors and communicate with Project Managers.

  • Resolve field issues and drive project execution.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.

  • At least 6 months of experience managing commercial remodels and renovations.

  • Comfortable traveling 100% throughout the United States.

  • One year of experience coordinating with Project Managers and multiple stakeholders.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with retail, convenience store, restaurant, or similar rollout projects is highly preferred.

  • Ability to coach teams and effectively resolve conflicts in the field.

  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods.

  • Knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, and general building trades is preferred.

  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in construction technology platforms.

  • Experience with Procore and Bluebeam is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and AI-driven project management tools is preferred.

  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and time management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Consulting or traveling superintendent experience is welcomed.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position with 100% travel to project sites throughout the United States. The work environment is a fast-paced commercial construction setting supporting retail, convenience store, and renovation projects. Projects typically last 4-6 weeks, with potential time at home between assignments. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in an independent, field-focused setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
