Machine Setup/Tooling Technician

Allstaff is seeking a skilled Machine Set-Up/Tooling Technician to join a great team at a metals manufacturing facility for a full time, temp to hire position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and have experience in a metals operation. The Machine Set-Up/ Tooling Technician will be responsible for tooling changes and perform machine set up adjustments ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Perform tooling changes on roll forming machines for different shapes - Perform setup adjustments on roll formers - Assist operators with troubleshooting roll former product spec issues - Supplying raw material to the roll former line when needed - Run roll formers when needed Qualifications: 2-3 yrs experience in Manufacturing with Machine Set-Up and Machine Tooling. Preferred previous experience in a metals operation. $25.00 starting hourly wage, depending on experience. Day shift, 40 hours per week. Temp to Hire position.
