THIS POSITION IS 100% REMOTE REPORTING OUT OF COMPANY OFFICES IN PHILADELPHIA, PA Sonepar Management US Inc. has openings (multiple) for Senior Auditor in Philadelphia, PA. Job duties include: responsible for independently planning and executing audits, managing key stakeholder relationships, and providing guidance to junior auditors. Lead internal audit engagements, assess risks, evaluate control effectiveness, and drive process improvements across the Americas region. Ensure high quality audit reporting and contribute to strategic risk assessments. Plan and lead audit engagements, setting scope, objectives, and timelines. Conduct risk assessments to prioritize high-risk areas and determine audit procedures. Design the work program of audit engagement, including defining scope, objectives, and key risks to focus on. Understand processes under review and identify the areas that require more in-depth testing. Identify weaknesses in financial, operational, and compliance controls, providing strategic recommendations for remediation. Drive improvements in audit methodologies, tools, and frameworks to increase audit effectiveness. Serve as a primary point of contact for business leaders, discussing audit findings and facilitating corrective action plans. Draft and present audit reports, summarizing key findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations for senior management. Utilize data analytics tools to perform risk assessments, detect anomalies, and enhance audit efficiency. Ensure alignment with internal audit standards, industry regulations, and evolving risk trends. Provide guidance and feedback to audit team members by reviewing workpapers, sharing expertise, and supporting their professional growth through informal mentorship and collaboration. 100% remote, reporting out of company offices in Philadelphia, PA. 50% domestic and international travel to conduct audits of company locations and report findings to sr. leaders. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or closely related field plus 3 years of experience in internal or external auditing including leading audit engagement in an international company and demonstrated experience with: Audit frameworks (COSO), risk management, and internal control principles; IFRS and other non-US accounting standards, including IIA standards; Electrical industry regulations, including OSHA and employment regulations in the USA; Data analytics tools including Power BI and Savant; Audit management software including TRACS by Devoteam in an international environment; and AI-related tools including Co-pilot.
