Calibration Specialist

The Calibration Specialist will deliver high-quality vehicle tuning services, uphold ethical standards, and provide exceptional customer support to enhance our brand reputation. Essential Functions - Provide technical support to prospective and existing customers, including vehicle calibrations, development, data logging, and addressing inquiries via phone, email, and forums. - Maintain in-depth knowledge of 5 Star Tuning's products and services. - Participate in ongoing calibration training to enhance expertise. - Conduct on-site and off-site vehicle tuning as needed. Technical Requirements - Develop and maintain proficiency in tuning for Ford, GM, Dodge, and SXS vehicles. - Demonstrate expertise in tuning software, including SCT, Bully Dog, HP Tuners, Cobb, and DynoJet. - Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders. - Meet individual and team calibration targets and tune delivery deadlines. - Provide timely and accurate technical support for tuning-related inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms. - Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality tuning outcomes. Personal Skills - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. - Maintain a positive, professional, and approachable demeanor. - Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic. Goals (Q2 2025) - Develop and deliver 28 customer tune sets per day. - Contribute to the team goal of 140 tune sets per day. - Respond to calibration and data log inquiries within 24 hours. Compensation - Pay: Weekly hourly pay, distributed every Wednesday (Thursday if following a holiday). - Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses awarded annually or bi-annually, contingent on achieving individual and team goals. - Incentives: Additional weekly compensation tied to the number of tunes completed. Attendance Policy - Strict adherence to the scheduled work hours is required. - Any deviations from the schedule must be pre-approved; unapproved absences will result in written disciplinary action. - Three unexcused written notifications will result in termination.
