About the Role & Program:

From toys to apparel, books to games, and much more, Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings our company’s products to markets worldwide through stories and characters.  With a portfolio of renowned franchises, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Studios, and National Geographic, our efforts to deliver innovative, experiential products are designed to entertain and inspire. As a part of our team, you will support our dynamic, fast-paced Adult apparel and accessories licensed business.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, FL area from January 11th, 2027 through June 4th, 2027.

What You Will Do:

The Softline’s licensing intern will work with top licensees to create best-in-class fashion products, driving strategy to gain market share and maximizing floor space to increase revenue. On any given day you might:

  • Research and respond to licensee requests

  • Attend meetings and distribute notes to the category team

  • Maintain and update buy boards

  • Manage Box folders (including POS, on-order, pitches, and franchise information)

  • Serve as liaison for marketing approvals

  • Maintain and distribute licensee lists

  • Work with associates on PR/Social Media requests

  • Collect information for business analysis, including trend research and retail shopping visits/updates

  • Provide management support in the contract and amendment process when requested

  • Prepare product presentations

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Skilled at managing several projects for different brands simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organization

  • Experienced in problem-solving with creative solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to embrace a fast-moving, action-oriented environment

  • Excellent computer literacy; Strong Proficiency in Keynote and Microsoft Office suite

  • Clear written and verbal communication for effective teamwork and stakeholder collaboration

  • The capacity to effectively prioritize tasks and promptly adjust to evolving business requirements

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for evolving trends in apparel and accessories

  • A strong interest in the business aspects of the apparel and licensing industries

  • Prior coursework in licensing

Education:

  • Currently enrolled as a senior

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

  • The dates of this internship are January 11th 2027 through June 4th 2027

  • Fully available from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time Zone, with possible weekends or shifts that are outside of these hours for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

  • Interns must able to provide own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale ,CA area
