Licensed Practical Nurse LPN 5000 Bonus

Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team! Staff enjoy a favorable staff-to-resident ratio which allows us to provide exceptional care and build meaningful relationships with residents. Our community qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in Iowa after 120 qualifying payments. We’re also introducing new staffing patterns and shifts —designed to enhance flexibility and work-life balance for our team. We are offering a $5,000 bonus for evening shifts!

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Valley View Village, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Shifts Available:

Evening 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Night: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

Wage Range: $29.63 to $36.12 / per hour depending on experience

Bonus: $5,000 for evenings only

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary

• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.

• Monitor residents and reports any change in their condition.

• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

• Monitor performance of CNA staff.

• Use strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.

Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

• Must have a current Iowa LPN license or have LPN licensure within the compact states.

• CPR certificate or willingness to obtain it.

• Stable work history.

• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.

• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
