Sr. Manager of Origination and Large Load Strategy

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Manager, Origination & Large Load Strategy for a leading energy and utility client. This highly visible position will serve as the organization's lead commercial originator for large-load power supply opportunities, including hyperscale data centers, major industrial expansions, and economic development projects. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic liaison between power supply and large-load growth initiatives, evaluating resource adequacy, market impacts, procurement strategies, and portfolio risk. This individual will lead complex commercial transactions, negotiate agreements with key stakeholders, develop innovative energy solutions, and drive strategic resource opportunities that support a rapidly evolving energy portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with deep wholesale power market expertise, strong MISO knowledge, and a passion for shaping the future of large-load energy strategy.

Skills and Requirements

• Electric utility experience
• Good people skills - can talk to anyone, communicate with cross functional stakeholders
• Comfortable with work autonomy - solution orientated mindset taking account of risk management
• MISO experience
• Experience with ERCOT, JPM, and ISO - NE
