Our platform replaces chaotic spreadsheets and disconnected tools with one elegant, intelligent system. More than 100 7, 8 and 9 figure brands have installed our app, and we’re working closely with these early users to drive product-market fit.

Backed by Forerunner Ventures and Freestyle VC, our founding team has built multiple $100M+ companies (Stella & Dot Brands, WeddingChannel.com). Now we’re building the platform we always wished we had — where AI meets marketing campaign planning and execution.

The Role Own product and engineering at Marklo. Lead our four-person engineering team, work directly with customers to drive toward product-market fit, and build the AI agents that power our platform. You will own what we build, why we build it, and how we deliver it. You’ll spend time directly with customers: observing their workflows, understanding where they struggle, testing ideas, and turning those insights into a focused roadmap. You’ll combine that product ownership with the technical depth to architect reliable AI systems, write code, and lead our strong exceptional team. Your mandate is to turn early installations into successful onboarding, recurring use, and paying customers. Success will be measured by customer outcomes and adoption—and our ability to rapidly scale.

You’ll:

• Build core product features end-to-end (React, TypeScript, Node.js or Python)
• Build proactive and agentic solution for consumer marketing
• Turn AI reasoning into 1-click campaign execution across channels
• Shape architecture, tooling, and technical culture

What We’re Looking For A builder, a bar raiser and a pace setter with the will to win.

• High initiative, strong urgency: takes ownership, makes clear tradeoffs, ships quickly, and raises the performance of the team.
• 10+ years building and shipping full-stack SaaS products, including hands-on leadership of a team.
• Deep fluency in React + TypeScript and Node.js or Python, with strong architecture, API integration, and data systems experience.
• Proven experience shipping production AI agents that use business data, call external tools, and execute multistep workflows.
• Practical command of agent orchestration, context and retrieval, evaluations, observability, and human approvals, with thoughtful handling of failures, latency, and cost.
• Exceptional customer focus and product judgment: comfortable owning discovery and prioritization, working directly with users, and turning feedback into improvements that drive adoption and retention.
• Experience with the Shopify ecosystem, commerce, or marketing automation strongly preferred.
• An AI-native approach to engineering: uses coding agents and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development, testing, and debugging—and helps the entire team adopt effective practices while maintaining ownership of architecture, security, and code quality.
