Business Analyst

Description

We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for an early-career candidate who can translate business needs into clear project documentation and help keep cross-functional work on track. The role offers the chance to collaborate with both internal stakeholders and technical partners while contributing to the delivery of customer-focused digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and clarify business needs from stakeholders to help define priorities for eCommerce and digital product work.

• Create organized documentation such as user stories, process notes, and project materials that support accurate execution.

• Write and maintain Jira tickets with clear acceptance criteria so development teams can move work forward efficiently.

• Coordinate communication across business teams, technical resources, and external partners to keep initiatives aligned.

• Review workflows and identify gaps, risks, or process improvement opportunities that may affect project outcomes.

• Assist Agile Scrum activities by supporting backlog updates, status tracking, and follow-up on action items.

• Monitor project details and timelines to help ensure deliverables are completed according to expectations.

• Provide document review and business support for digital initiatives, including work connected to operational or platform changes when needed.

Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in business analysis, digital product support, project coordination, or a related field.

• Working knowledge of business analysis practices, including requirements gathering and gap analysis.

• Experience using Jira to document work items, track progress, and support team collaboration.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum environments and the ability to contribute within iterative delivery models.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical groups.

• Detail-oriented approach to document review, organization, and follow-through on project tasks.

• Customer service or call center support experience is helpful, particularly in roles involving issue tracking or stakeholder interaction.
