Full job description

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Donor Relations & Database Coordinator to join the RRCC Foundation team! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing our donor database system, overseeing gift and pledge entry, maintaining accurate donor records, and ensuring timely acknowledgment and tax receipt issuance. You will also conduct regular audits, prepare reports on prospective donors, and provide data analysis to support advancement activities. By tracking giving history, managing donor communication, and ensuring data accuracy, you will help foster long-term relationships with our donors and alumni. Additionally, you will work closely with the Foundation team to cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors through personalized outreach, event planning, and strategic communication. Your efforts will be key in supporting fundraising campaigns and ensuring smooth office operations, including website and social media management, financial recordkeeping, and grant compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee donor database management, including gift entry, donor acknowledgment, and tax receipt issuance.
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports on prospective donors for advancement activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors and alumni through outreach, communication, and event planning.
  • Support fundraising campaigns and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage office operations, including website content and social media platforms.
  • Collaborate on marketing materials and respond to donor inquiries to maintain positive relationships.

A successful candidate is passionate about building meaningful relationships and has a strong foundation in database management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.   • Familiarity with fundraising principles and practices, including donor stewardship and gift processing.

Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

  • Relevant experience which includes experience using databases, completing data entry, reporting, providing administrative support, and/or coordinating and managing events.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with a Foundation or development office, or relevant non-profit setting.

Physical & Cognitive DemandsThe following are some of the physical and cognitive demands commonly associated with this position.

  • Occasionally moves, positions, and transports files and office materials weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • This is largely a sedentary role. This position operates in an office environment and constantly uses a computer, and routinely uses standard office equipment including phones, copiers, etc.
  • The person in this position constantly communicates with internal and external constituents and students. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Cognitive demands include comparing, copying, computing, compiling, analyzing, coordinating, synthesizing, negotiating, communicating, instructing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Work is generally performed in a standard office environment. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. May require hours outside of regular office hours. May require work at both campuses. May require travel between campuses.

Starting Salary Starting salary range for this position is $54,545 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience. This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position.
