Direct Service Professional Location: Manchester, MI Position: Direct Service Professional Pay: $18.40 per hour Benefits: Begin after 30 days of employment Eisenhower Center is growing and seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Service Professionals to support residents in achieving their personal goals and greater independence. All offers of employment are contingent upon applicable background screenings. #### Key Responsibilities - Provide daily support and meaningful opportunities that help residents achieve their individual goals. - Follow each resident's person-centered and behavioral support plans. - Provide compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care while maintaining a safe and healthy environment. - Build trusting relationships while protecting residents' rights, dignity, and confidentiality. - Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and other support needs. - Transport residents to appointments and community activities as needed. - Attend appointments, advocate for residents, and obtain necessary documentation when required. - Remain awake and immediately accessible when assigned to homes requiring 24/7 care. - Complete Daily Progress Notes (DPN), Direct Data Sheets (DDS), and other required documentation accurately and on time. - Communicate changes in resident behavior, needs, or safety concerns to appropriate staff. - Follow all organizational policies, procedures, training requirements, and safety standards. - Maintain a positive and professional attitude with residents, coworkers, and visitors. - Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and participate in shift reports during staff transitions. - Work assigned schedules consistently. Additional shifts may be available with approval. - Perform other duties as assigned.
