Director, Manufacturing Channel Development

Remote | Direct Hire | $100,000 Base + Uncapped Commission

The Adecco Permanent Recruitment Team has partnered with a rapidly growing national professional services organization to identify an experienced Director, Manufacturing Channel Development . This is a highly visible, national business development opportunity focused on building and expanding a manufacturing-focused sales channel from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will bring an established network within the manufacturing industry and the ability to leverage executive relationships, strategic partnerships, associations, advisors, and referral sources to create new business opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute a national manufacturing channel development strategy.

  • Leverage an established manufacturing network to generate new business, named-account opportunities, and partner-sourced pipeline.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturing executives, industry advisors, associations, professional service providers, and other key influencers.

  • Lead executive-level sales conversations and present complex business solutions in a clear, consultative manner.

  • Identify and activate strategic referral and channel partnerships.

  • Represent the organization at manufacturing industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, and technical subject-matter experts to develop campaigns, messaging, sales tools, and repeatable channel strategies.

  • Build processes and playbooks that can be scaled across the national manufacturing market.

  • Manage pipeline, account activity, and relationships through Salesforce or a comparable CRM.

  • Provide market feedback to help improve targeting, messaging, and overall go-to-market strategy.

  • Travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of B2B sales, business development, channel development, consulting, advisory, or related commercial experience.

  • Current or recent manufacturing industry experience with an established network of manufacturing executives and industry contacts.

  • Proven success developing new business and building qualified sales pipeline.

  • Experience selling consultatively to executive-level decision makers.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop referral, partner, or influencer relationships that generate business.

  • Strong executive presence and excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a new market, vertical, or channel.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex solutions in a compelling way.

  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

We are particularly interested in candidates coming from manufacturing-focused business development, consulting, advisory services, accounting, banking, insurance, site selection, economic development, ERP/software, industrial services, or other professional services environments.

  • Warm introductions generated through existing industry relationships

  • Manufacturing association and industry relationships activated

  • Named-account penetration

  • Partner-sourced opportunities

  • Development of repeatable processes and channel strategies
