Description:
This position is responsible for driving Physician engagement, recruitment, and contracting of all Providers. The Manager works with the Independent Physician Association (IPA), Saint Agnes Medical Foundation (SAMF), and other community-based physician networks. This position will collaborate with IPA while they onboard and develop providers (primary care, specialty care, and ancillary) in their participation and growth as strategic participants in the network. The Manager Provider Relations & Development will maintain mutually-developed "Health Plan to Provider" approaches and strategies as required to achieve provider and membership satisfaction, driving revenue growth targets. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, this position will set goals for contracting target increases, specific service level improvements, and manage the quantitative and qualitative measurement of Provider engagement and commitment to the IPA and Central Valley Health Plan (CVHP).
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Four (4) years of experience managing care contracting and provider development is required.

Extensive understanding of physician practice operations and associated performance metrics is required.
4 Experience working with physicians and physician groups is required.

Ability to successfully negotiate, build consensus, and bring complicated deals to closure is required.

Ability to interpret and convert contract language and identify areas impacting provider operation and implementation is required.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite are required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong quantitative/analytical skills are required.
Pay Range ($48.56 - $72.85)
