Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Top Secret Systems Administrator to support a federal program in Dahlgren, VA. This individual will provide hands-on technical and desktop support within a secure DoD environment, including troubleshooting Windows systems, Active Directory account support, hardware and peripheral issues, network connectivity, and ServiceNow ticket management. Candidates must have 2–3 years of professional IT experience, familiarity with DoD networking and security processes, and an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access. The pay for this role ranges from $30-$40/hour, based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

  • 2–3 years of professional IT/system administration or technical support experience
  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, peripherals, and connectivity issues
  • Experience supporting user accounts, password resets, network drives, printers, and standard desktop applications
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Active IAT Level II certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM/ticketing platform
  • Experience supporting systems in a LAN/WAN environment
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
