Full job description
About Coval Coval is the evaluation platform for enterprise voice AI, built by former Waymo engineers applying autonomous vehicle testing standards to help companies deploy and scale conversational agents to 10s of millions of calls a month. The platform gives engineering, product, QA, and operations teams the infrastructure to stress-test agents across millions of realistic scenarios before launch, monitor every live conversation in production, and continuously sharpen performance through human-in-the-loop review. Trusted by more than 80 customers like Chime and Zoom, Coval is the operations layer for voice interfaces, the next platform after mobile and web. The role We're looking for a Product Marketer to own how Coval sounds and what Coval says. You'll set the messaging and positioning for a fast-moving technical product, and you'll write the copy, emails, newsletters, and social content that carry it to customers. You'll be technical enough to understand what the platform does and why it matters to the engineering, product, QA, and operations teams who buy it, and a strong enough writer to make that clear to someone meeting Coval for the first time. This role rewards people who can move between strategy and execution in the same week, tightening a positioning doc one day and shipping a newsletter or a batch of social assets the next, while working with the founder, Sales, and Product to turn what we're seeing in the market into a clear, consistent story. What you'll do Own messaging and positioning
- Define and maintain Coval's core company and product messaging, and keep it consistent from the website to the deck to the demo.
- Turn new features and launches into clear positioning for each audience: engineering, product, QA, and operations teams across our core verticals.
- Build the messaging foundations the rest of the team can use: value propositions, proof points, and language guidelines for Sales and customer-facing teams.
Write the copy
- Own copy across the website, product pages, sales collateral, and launch materials.
- Keep Coval's voice consistent and recognizable, and catch generic, AI-sounding phrasing before it ships.
- Edit drafts from across the team until they sound like us.
Run email and newsletters
- Write and ship our newsletter and lifecycle email, balancing thought leadership with product updates.
- Track what gets opened and clicked, and use it to decide what to write next.
Create social and content assets
- Turn customer conversations, product ships, and founder perspective into LinkedIn posts, X threads, and other short-form content.
- Build the social assets that support events, launches, and campaigns.
- Work from a content calendar and keep the cadence steady across channels.
Feed the loop with Sales and Product
- Learn what customers are asking and what resonates, and bring it back into the messaging.
- Know the difference between a one-off ask and a pattern worth building a message around.
Partner on joint marketing
- Work with partners to tell stories together around new launches, integrations, and customer wins.
- Plan and host joint events and content with partners, including webinars and podcasts, along with the blogs and social posts that go with them.
- Make it easy for partners to co-promote Coval with ready-to-use copy, assets, and a clear point of contact.
Manage SEO
- Own our SEO strategy and keep the blog, site, and product pages working together to drive organic traffic and demo requests.
- Run keyword research and on-page optimization, refresh existing content, and track rankings and traffic.
- Work with the team that drafts and publishes our blog content so every article meets our SEO standards before it goes live.
What you'll need
- 3+ years in product marketing, brand, or content marketing at a B2B SaaS, developer tools, or infrastructure company.
- Excellent writing across formats. You can move between a positioning doc, a blog post, an email, a tweet, and a slide without losing the thread, and you can show us examples.
- Experience building messaging and positioning, not just executing someone else's.
- Comfort with a technical product (APIs, developer tools, AI/ML or infrastructure software). You can learn it quickly and explain it credibly to engineers and to executives.
- Experience running or contributing to a content, email, or social calendar, with a track record of shipping on a steady cadence.
- Product instincts: you can tell the difference between a feature and the reason a customer cares about it.
- You take feedback well and give it directly, including on your own drafts.
- Comfort with ambiguity at an early-stage company where the role isn't fully defined yet, because part of the job is defining it.
- Experience working with partners on co-marketing, such as joint launches, webinars, podcasts, or events.
- Working knowledge of SEO: keyword research, on-page optimization, and tools like Search Console, Semrush, or Ahrefs.
Nice to have
- Experience with voice AI, conversational AI, or customer-facing AI agents.
- Experience marketing to technical buyers such as developers and engineering leaders.
- Experience in our core verticals: contact center, healthcare, fintech, insurance, or logistics.
- Experience working at an early-stage startup, ideally as one of the first marketing hires.

- Location: San Francisco office, 5 days a week

- Healthcare, Dental, & Vision coverage
