A child nutrition staff member is responsible for food preparation and serving, answering questions, cashiering, and cleaning kitchen area and equipment. If you enjoy interacting with students while providing nutritious meals to our future, and are a team player, this is the job for you! Reports To: Kitchen Manager Job Duties: - A child nutrition staff member must be patient, attentive and have excellent decision-making skills. - A child nutrition staff member must follow the assigned schedule and check in with the supervisor on completion of daily duties. - A child nutrition staff member must serve student meals in a fast and friendly atmosphere. - A child nutrition staff member must be responsible for checking/cleaning own area to meet the standards of food safety. - A child nutrition staff member must follow guidelines to ensure correct serving temperature and adequate portion control and quality of products. - Other duties as assigned.
