Metallus Internship Includes: * Competitive salary ($19.25-$33.50 per hour) * Based upon major, degree type, and class status * Housing options (if eligible) * Free access to our 24/7 Wellness Center * Real-world experience that provides a competitive edge upon graduation * Casual work environment * Career planning and development workshops * Organized social activities and community service events * Networking with leadership, hiring managers, and early career colleagues Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2027 * Start date: 05/17/2027 * Learn and develop the skills needed to navigate CMMS and drawing systems to improve inventory management and the reliability of critical assets * Develop a process similar to ESB's for a primary project focused on a "Reliability Challenge" * Create a tool for SMEs to use routinely to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement before downtime occurs * Design the process to be simple and user-friendly for consistent application * Ensure the project captures both downtime risks and improvement opportunities * Incorporate enhancements to LOTOTO plans specific to each asset within the process Internship Qualifications: * Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 * Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester * Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university * Preferred majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related * Basic experience in mechanical and/or electrical print reading The company prohibits harassment or discrimination against any employee on the basis of any status protected by law, including, but not limited to, race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetic information, gender, sex or veteran status.
