Job Description
- Hang asset tags on equipment and components at natural gas compressor stations, receipt points, and delivery points.
- Ensure accurate and consistent labeling and identification of assets according to company standards.
- Collaborate with the asset management team to maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
- Create accurate drawings utilizing research obtained through field research.
- Assist in reviewing and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to accurately place asset tags.
- Support the implementation of AutoCAD software for asset management purposes.
- Coordinate with on-site technicians and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tagging and labeling processes.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for optimizing asset tracking procedures.
(Pay Rate $30-33/hr)
Skills and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in asset management, drafting, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software is desirable but can be learned on the job.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays, for prolonged periods.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to comply with all travel-related policies and procedures.
