Part-time Faculty, Dental Hygiene - Clinical & Diagnostic Health Sciences

Summary of Position Provide clinical, laboratory, and/or didactic instruction in an accredited dental hygiene program. Responsible for supervising and evaluating student performance, facilitating the development of clinical competencies, maintaining accurate attendance and grade records, and supporting student success in both classroom and clinical settings. Expectation to utilize learning management systems, participate in departmental meetings as needed, and ensure compliance with program, college, and professional standards. ## Position Information Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations. Primary Location: Youngstown ## Qualifications and Competencies Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: Current Ohio Dental Hygiene License. Sponsorship and/or Work Authorization Status: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Minimum Qualifications: At least an earned bachelor's degree in dental Hygiene or a related health field; at least two years of clinical experience as a dental hygienist; current Ohio Dental Hygiene License; must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in dental hygiene or a related field**.** Experience teaching in a dental hygiene program at the undergraduate level using Blackboard Ultra or similar learning management system
