Senior Manager, Digital Portfolio & Vendor Strategy

Lead the investment decisions, partnerships, and governance that shape the future of Digital Technology.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Qnity is seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee our enterprise Digital Technology portfolio, strategic vendor ecosystem, and technology governance processes. This highly visible role will help senior leaders make the right technology investments, maximize value from supplier relationships, and ensure disciplined execution across a significant capital and operating budget.

You will bring portfolio strategy, financial stewardship, operational performance, and vendor management into one data-driven framework that supports business growth and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to build and continuously evolve the operating model that guides technology investment decisions across the enterprise.

What You'll Do

Portfolio Management | 30%

  • Lead the intake, evaluation, prioritization, and governance of enterprise technology initiatives.

  • Maintain a consolidated view of technology investments, including scope, budget, timelines, business value, risks, and resource demand.

  • Facilitate senior leadership portfolio reviews and guide stage-gate decisions that determine where investments should accelerate, pivot, or stop.

  • Measure and report on realized business benefits to ensure approved initiatives deliver expected outcomes.

Contract Management | 30%

  • Oversee the Digital Technology contract portfolio, ensuring visibility into commitments, renewals, consumption, obligations, and commercial risk.

  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Technology leaders to drive sourcing strategies, negotiations, renewals, and optimization opportunities.

  • Connect technology demand, vendor spend, and contract utilization to ensure investments align with business priorities.

  • Identify cost, service, renewal, and entitlement risks before they affect performance or budget.

Vendor Management, Performance Management & Operations | 40%

  • Establish and lead a comprehensive vendor performance management program.

  • Develop scorecards, KPIs, service reviews, escalation processes, and senior leadership reporting for strategic technology partners.

  • Chair monthly and quarterly business reviews with key vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Lead operational performance reviews that give leadership clear visibility into trends, risks, service performance, and improvement opportunities.

  • Ensure actions and decisions are tracked through completion and measurable outcomes.

Provide Leadership & Governance

  • Deliver clear, concise recommendations to senior leaders based on financial, operational, contractual, and performance data.

  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, business cases, capital planning, operating budgets, accruals, and variance management.

  • Strengthen governance disciplines through improved standards, tools, reporting, and workflows.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team while mentoring project and program leaders across the organization.

What Success Looks Like

  • Improved visibility and transparency across the Digital Technology investment portfolio.

  • Faster, higher-confidence leadership decision-making.

  • Stronger vendor accountability and supplier performance.

  • Reduced commercial, operational, and dependency risks.

  • Improved forecasting accuracy and financial stewardship.

  • A scalable governance model that delivers measurable value.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience across technology portfolio management, PMO leadership, program management, vendor management, contract management, or technology governance, including 5+ years of people leadership experience.

  • Proven experience managing significant capital and operating technology portfolios.

  • Demonstrated success leading strategic supplier relationships, contract governance, and vendor performance programs.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, business cases, and technology investments.

  • Track record of influencing senior leaders and driving difficult decisions through data and business insight.

  • Experience leading teams and building organizational capability.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, or another complex industrial environment.

  • Experience building or transforming PMO, governance, vendor management, or portfolio management functions.

  • Professional certification such as PfMP, PMP, PgMP, or WorldCC.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Power BI, or comparable reporting and workflow platforms.

Why This Role Is Different

This is more than a traditional PMO or vendor management leadership role. You will sit at the intersection of technology strategy, investment governance, financial performance, and supplier management, helping leadership determine where resources should be invested, which partnerships should be expanded, and how Digital Technology delivers measurable business value.

If you enjoy influencing senior leadership decisions, optimizing large technology investments, and creating structure from complexity, this is an opportunity to have an outsized impact on the future direction of the organization.
