Full job description

Overview

Do you want to help organizations protect endpoints against modern threats and strengthen security at runtime? The endpoint threat landscape has fundamentally changed. Devices and workloads now operate across distributed environments, while attackers use increasingly sophisticated techniques to gain access, evade detection, and move through organizations. Security teams need effective ways to prevent threats, detect suspicious activity, and respond quickly across their endpoint estate. We are building the next generation of Microsoft Defender capabilities that protect endpoints at runtime, from prevention and threat detection through investigation, response, and recovery. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint helps security teams understand and stop threats across their environments.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager who will help define product strategy, customer scenarios, roadmap investments, and platform direction for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. You will work across Microsoft Defender, Windows, Azure, security research teams, engineering organizations, software vendors and customers to turn emerging endpoint security challenges into category-defining products. • Define differentiated product experiences that help customers prevent endpoint attacks, detect and investigate threats, and respond effectively across their environments.

  • Represent Microsoft with customers, executives, and industry audiences as a credible voice on endpoint protection, runtime security, and threat detection and response.

  • 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).

  • 6+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
